The connection is only so good. It’s more worth it to jailbreak and get a dedicated tethering app like MyWi. But this is an interesting find. I also doubt that the developers actually wanted it to be used in this way, seeing as you have to go through so much trouble to do it.
I agree, but this is here for people who don’t want to jailbreak. and still have a tether capability.

No good on the 4s? HTP settings not working….
Yeah, I can’t get it to work on my 4s either.
I have setup an adhoc network on my macbook pro by creating network, naming it, selecting channel 11, using 40 bit wep and a 5 character ASCII password. Then, went into network settings. clicked on “advanced” then on “proxies” and a) clicked on web proxy (HTTP), enterred in the proxy ip address that shows up when irandomizer is connected but irandomizer shows the port number is 2000, not 6666. Neither typing in port 20000 nor 6666 allows the my iphone 4s to connect, the connection icon at the top just keeps on turning. HELP!
